About the Role

Seniors Helping Seniors East King is a Washington State licensed home care agency (SHSEastKing.com) providing non-medical, in-home support to seniors. We match seniors who need assistance with mature, dependable caregivers who value dignity, companionship, and respect.

Positions Available

• Caregiver- Home Care Aide (HCA)
  • Caregiver- CNA / NAR
  • Companion / Homemaker Caregiver

Pay & Benefits

• $21.50–$25.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Personal Care / ADLs (HCA/CNA/NAR Required):
• Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
• Mobility assistance and safe transfers
• Feeding assistance and range of motion
• Observe, report, and document client condition

Companion / Homemaker Care (No license required):
• Companionship and engagement
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Laundry, errands, grocery shopping
• Transportation to appointments and outings

Qualifications

• Active WA State HCA, CNA, or NAR credential, OR willingness to complete 75-hour HCA training (WAC 246-980)
  • Pass WA background check
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to assist with transfers (up to 25 lbs)
  • Strong communication and professionalism

Work Environment

• One-on-one care in client homes
  • Travel between clients required
  • PPE provided as needed
